The farm is surrounded by upland pasture, woodland and moorland. Besides being an ideal base for walking, cycling, riding and similar outdoor activities, it is a natural haven, with over forty different species of bird spotted. To enhance this we are currently in the process of establishing a nature reserve.

On the farm we keep pigs, sheep, cattle, horses and poultry, and are small scale producers of pork, lamb, eggs, and vegetables wihich we grow in the garden. We aim to produce everything as naturally as possible. Visitors are always welcome to a tour of the farm, and possibly even help with some tasks.

We also run a 5 pitch caravan and camping site, and have a tipi available for individuals or groups.

Plans are in place for the conversion of a barn to provide bunkhouse accomodation, which, likewise, will be available to groups and individuals
